A broken man.
A chance at redemption.
And a truth that will challenge mankind.
Calling All Angels
…A Walk in the Sand
A novel
On a remote Bahamian cay, dreams collide with fate, reconnections become destiny—and a new understanding brings hope to the world.
A work of literary fiction blending elements of magical realism, paranormal, and speculative fiction.
At the Heart of the Story
Set in the Out Islands of the Bahamas, Calling All Angels…A Walk in the Sand unfolds in an unspoiled paradise, blending chance, memory, and unchecked emotion.
Visitors find personal griefs quickly fade, unless they don’t. Unfinished business longs for closure. Greed and betrayal plague the island’s devoted steward while the frailties of human nature threaten to unravel the island’s gift.
Chance events pass unnoticed , only to resurface, revealing a deeper order.
At its core, Calling All Angels is about connection—
between husband and wife, between friends and loved ones, between the living and the dead.
Under the Surface
Grief, greed, friendship, and interrupted love
Ethical decline amid rapid progress
The persistence of memory
Childhood’s long shadow
Comparable in spirit to literary coastal fiction and quiet speculative narratives where meaning accumulates rather than announcing itself.
Why I Wrote This Story
Calling All Angels grew out of my own persistence of memory, to explore the what-if’s of the afterlife, and to examine human nature when faced with ethical choices.
Kettle Cay, the island in this novel is fictional, but its rhythms are real: the way weather dictates mood and behavior, the way true love picks up right where it left off, and the way something acquired for free often holds no value.
This is not a story about angels in the traditional sense, but more a tale of our deep desire to connect with them, and a man’s quest to see that through.
